Inglis managing director Mark Webster said the sale company will take its tradition to a purpose-built Warwick Farm sales complex in 2018.
Inglis has been part of the racing industry for more than a century with its Newmarket address in Randwick the centrepiece of horse sales in Australia. It has been working on the move since 2009.
"We have the rezoning on the Newmarket site and it will be sold in the near future. We will move our offices and operation out to Warwick Farm in three years' time," Webster said.
"We are going to develop the site to give the best experience at selling and buying horses that we can and that will include aspects of Newmarket history.
"Our goal is to create the best thoroughbred horse sales facility in the world that honours our heritage and services the Australasian thoroughbred industry for the next 100 years."
