This year's most unlikely couple award is a a close tie between two moguls and their new flames.
There is Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall and then there is James Packer and Mariah Carey.
How did such a coupling happen, you ask?
Well, now we know.
Carey has opened up to American chat show host, Steve Harvey, saying the pair instantly connected.
"We first met in Aspen [Colorado]a couple of years ago," the 45-year-old singer said of Packer.
"We were at the Hercules premiere. We were talking and laughing, and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off."
Harvey gushed that Packer was "a lucky guy," while Carey responded: "I'm lucky too".
The Fantasy singer also showed off a new necklace, by her favourite designer, that Packer gave her as a gift ahead of the opening of his new casino in Macau.
"Oh, this old thing?" she joked, when Harvey asked about it. "This is a Van Cleef [& Arpels] piece that my new beau got for me recently.
"This was a very, very big surprise... Really nice. I wore it that night... he was opening a casino."
The pair, whose romance was revealed in June, made their red carpet debut at the premiere of The Intern in September.
"I don't think either one of us thought, 'Here we are, making a debut,'" she told ET in October. "He's not that guy. It was a lot for him.
"I just automatically pose. I can't help it!"
