A stony-faced Julie Bishop has hit back at Tony Abbott saying all parties have "different recollections" of what took place in the lead up to the September leadership coup.
Ms Bishop on Tuesday evening declined to comment further on the personal and bitter row that has opened up between her and the former Prime Minster Tony Abbott.
Mr Abbott has complained of being white-anted by his own colleagues, leading to his demise.
This was rejected by Ms Bishop earlier on Monday who said Mr Abbott was the victim of his own performance.
The Deputy Leader claimed she told Mr Abbott of a phone call she listened to in February in which Malcolm Turnbull flagged with Scott Morrison the idea of him becoming Treasurer.
Mr Abbott rejected this as utterly false in an exclusive interview with Fairfax Media.
Appearing on the Ten Network's The Project, Ms Bishop said she had nothing further to say.
"Well there are obviously different recollections across a whole range of issues," Ms Bishop said.
"People bring their different perspectives and different recollections to it and I have nothing further to add," she said.
Ms Bishop did not seek to correct any of Mr Abbott's rebuttals. Instead she highlighted the public support for the new government led by Mr Turnbull.
"I'm getting very positive feedback from the electorate and I've got nothing further to add on other issues," she said.
When host Waleed Aly observed that the Liberal party was starting to look like Labor, a curt Ms Bishop replied: "That's not the way I see it.
"I'm getting very positive feedback from across the community," she said.
Asked whether the tit-for-tat public argument between the former prime minister and his deputy would end, Ms Bishop said: "I can't answer for other people" and added she was focused on her job as Foreign Minister.
