Castle Hill Players: Ayckbourn thriller

THE Castle Hill Players are presenting their next thriller, Snake in the Grass.

Englishman Alan Ayckbourn's 2002 play will be brought to life in the Hills for four weeks only.

The story follows two middle-aged sisters after they return to the house of their deceased father.

Annabel Chester is divorced and a businesswoman under financial pressure,

Her younger sister Miriam Chester stayed in the house with their father after Annabel left years before.

After returning to the home, they are approached by their father's former nurse Alice.

Alice claims to have evidence Miriam killed the girls' father and threatens to go to the police unless she is paid.

From there, a tale of deception and intrigue follows.

The play is set in the garden, summer house and on the tennis court of the property.
