They're supposed to be roughing it in the South African jungle, but contestants on Ten's I'm A Celebrity are allowed one luxury: cigarettes.
Ten reluctantly revealed their stars, most notably pack-a-day smoker Shane Warne, have been allowed to smoke away from the camera while slumming it on the series.
According to a News Corp report, Warne, Brendan Fevola and Anthony Callea are smokers. Bachelor star Laurina Fleur has also been seen lighting up at various social events around Melbourne.
The report follows an interview in which Warne declared he'd quit smoking and go "cold turkey" before entering the camp.
"As well as no food, no sleep and no smokes, I could be grumpy. I'm going to give myself a muzzle," the father of three said," the 46-year-old told News Corp.
"Ciggies will be very tough. To give up there's going to be a lot of phlegm and a lot of stuff coming up so hopefully there's a spit bucket or something like that. That's going to be really hard for me because I am a heavy smoker."
A Ten spokesperson said smoking was an addiction, and while contestants had been encouraged to quit, they were following the UK series in allowing stars to light up.
"We will not comment on individuals. But, yes, some people are smoking, as they do in the UK version of the show."
"We are encouraging them to quit and assisting them in any way we can, but it is an individual's decision. Smoking is an addiction.
"Although celebrities were encouraged to and tried to quit before heading into the jungle, some have struggled more than others. We have a fulltime psychologist to help with quitting and we offer nicotine patches to help with cravings."
Last month, it was revealed the high-profile cricketer also had a clause in his contract which exempts him from eating spiders, which is notoriously afraid of.
