Daylight savings begins this weekend

It’s the unofficial start of summer this weekend when daylights savings kicks in.

Nothing beat sitting outside at 7.30pm with the sun still up and the barbecue cooking.

Daylight saving will begin on Sunday for NSW residents.

Clocks will have to put forward an hour at 2am.

While an hour of the weekend will be lost, the extra daylight and long summer nights will make it all worth it.

And the best news — it will last for six months!
