The 28-year-old has "taken a serious interest in" one of three US$17million apartments in spitting distance of Bergdorf Goodman and Central Park, according to Vanity Fair.
The luxury apartments may well suit Ms Middleton's jet-set lifestyle - she last month enjoyed a holiday in New York and was seen out and about with the son of the US Tennis Association's president, Spencer Vergosen, and partying with New York Rangers player, Sean Avery.
Her trip away from London also included a tour of the Big Apple - in a VW Beetle van, no less - with hotelier and charmer-about-town, André Balasz.
The Daily Mail reports that the high-end properties in question have a screening and performance room, a yoga room, a swimming pool and private fitness center, an arts and crafts atelier room - and even a 7.3m aquarium.
Given her penchant for rollerblading in Central Park, the gym may be on the excessive side. What that makes of the 'atelier room' and oversized aquarium, we are unsure.
