WISEBERRY Kellyville is holding a fundraiser for MS Australia on October 25 to show their support for people living with multiple sclerosis.
The fundraising charity night at Castle Hill RSL will be fun filled, with guests enjoying a three-course meal and live entertainment including a performance by local singer songwriter Cassidy-Rae Wilson, a burlesque show and DJ. There will also be auctions and raffles with some great prizes.
All proceeds will be donated to MS Australia-ACT/NSW/VIC to help people living with multiple sclerosis.
Lauren Briffa from Wiseberry Kellyville and other staff members have had personal experience through their friends and family of people living with MS.
With MS Australia's support, Ms Briffa decided to do something to make a difference.
"Our fellow colleagues from Wiseberry offices in the Hills are excited about being involved and are rallying together with their families and friends to support the MS cause," Ms Briffa said.
MS is a chronic, often disabling disease that randomly attacks the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Deborah Hudson, a Quakers Hill mother of two, was officially diagnosed at 22.
"I have an incurable, unexplained, unpredictable condition and nothing's going to change that," Ms Hudson said.
She is one MS sufferer Ms Briffa hopes to help.
"We hope to fill the room and raise as much as we can on the night to help make a difference for those living with MS," Ms Briffa said.
