Baulkham Hills and Australian bowler Mitchell Starc has been included in the International Cricket Council’s Twenty20 World team.
The left arm quick impressed a five man panel in his first major international tournament and claiming 10 wickets at average of 16.40.
Starc was one of four bowlers in the team alongside Pakistan off-spinner Saeed Ajmal and Sri Lankan pair Lasith Malinga and Ajantha Mendis .
Fellow Australian Shane Watson was picked as the team’s opening batsman with the West Indies power hitter Chris Gayle, while Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene was selected as skipper.
New Zealand wicket keeper batsman Brendan McCullum, India's Virat Kohli England's Luke Wright round out the squad.
Meanwhile, Australia's summer of cricket starts on November 9, against the new world number one ranked team South Africa at the Gabba.
