Olivia Wilde is "blissfully, hopelessly, wildly in love" with Jason Sudeikis - but admits she is not immune to worrying about her relationship.
"I just don't want to get hurt and feel stupid later" the Change-Up actress told an audience in New York on Monday.
At the fundraising evening, hosted by the Glamour magazine, Wilde - joined by a bevvy of actresses including Mamie Gummer and Rashida Jones - candidly opened up about her love life and her divorce from Italian prince, Tao Ruspoli.
"I felt like my vagina died. It just turned off. Lights out", the 28-year-old said of the 2011 split after eight years of marriage.
"You can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them that 'everything on the home front's just peachy!' but you cannot lie to your vagina."
And, as much as she embraced her "liberated", "bad ass" side in the monologue, making the most of her single social life, she said that before meeting Sudeikis, 37, she was "really f****** lonely".
All that's changed, she said. "I am so crazy about this dude, I could find David Beckham naked, in a cardboard box on my doorstep and I would drop him off at the pound."
While she moved in with the Saturday Night Live comedian last year, she offered hope to the less tech-savvy when it comes to the art of modern romance.
"I don't want to go back to single life. My liver won't stand for it. Also, I'm really bad at sexting."
