THEY say one person's trash is another's treasure. That's what volunteers from the MS Australia Community Shop need — your so-called trash.
Store manager Ruth Davis said the Baulkham Hills shop, which opened in November, relies on charitable donations that go directly to help find a cure and provide care for people with multiple sclerosis.
Mrs Davis said the shop, the only MS charity store in NSW, sells clothes, toys, shoes, bags, accessories, electrical items, books and cookery.
"The more we sell, the more we can help," Mrs Davis said.
"People come in out of the goodness of their heart, which is fantastic."
She seeks items in good condition to sell.
They will help to fund research into MS and support the 23,000 Australians affected by the disease.
