Carlingford woman missing

Police are appealing to the public to help find an 80-year-old woman who went missing from Carlingford yesterday.

Police said Margaret (Betty) Williamson was last seen by her neighbours in Alamein Avenue, Carlingford when she left her home to take her dog for a walk about 3pm yesterday (Tuesday).

Police said Betty suffers from mild dementia and concerns were raised when she failed to return from her walk with her small black and white Fox Terrier “Alice”.

Police have searched the local surrounds without success, and are now appealing for help from the local community.

Betty is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165centimetres tall with a thin build and grey hair. 

She was wearing a blue and white zip jacket with a mauve T-Shirt and black track pants and blue and white sneakers.
