New South Wales Police are investigating a crash between a car and motorbike that killed a man at Gundagai on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Hume Highway near Sheehan Bridge at South Gundagai about 2.30pm.
Early investigations indicated a white Toyota Corolla and motorcycle collided, killing the unidentified motorcyclist.
The 20-year-old female Toyota driver was uninjured but taken to Gundagai hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
The incident marked the second fatality on New South Wales roads on Tuesday after a crash at Cobar in the morning.
Traffic and Highway Patrol Regional Commander Superintendent Bob Ryan urged people to take responsibility for their actions on the road.
"Today, we lost the lives two more people on country roads," he said.
"The loss of these two lives comes only days after announcing that eight people died on NSW roads in 48 hours."
