Police are targeting dangerous drivers in school zones after concerns for safety.
Officers from The Hills are working with The Hills Council to target unsafe and dangerous driving around Iron Bark Public School in Rouse Hill.
Police said the vast majority of parents dropping and picking up their children at school did the right thing, but 20 drivers were fined for safety offences.
These offences included performing illegal U-Turns, stopping in no stopping zones, using mobile phones while driving, and speeding.
Police said officers will continue to conduct these operations to ensure every child gets to and from school safely.
A driver was also fined $600 and lost five demerit points from their licence during the operation at a primary school in The Hills last last week.
Anyone who witnesses dangerous driving or parking should contact Castle Hill police on 9680 5399.
