If you are a lover of the sweet sounds of funk, soul, dance and reggae, then you’ll love the tunes from Uptown Funk.

The six piece soul, funk, R&B and old school dance band will perform at Castle Hill RSL on June 24.

The band is fronted by two of Sydney’s premier lead vocalist and entertainers, Oscar Kami and Ashleigh Leef. Both share lead vocals and have been in the industry for most of their lives.

Joining Uptown Funk on stage are back-line performers; Andrew Mostyn on drums, Kuki Nayakacalou on guitar and Jona Uluinaceva on keys.

Though relatively new, Uptown Funk is no stranger to the music industry, with all vocalist and musicians performing in the live sector and recording studio for more than a decade.

The group will perform a mix of songs including reggae infused with an old school side of pop, inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Daft Punk and more.

  • 10pm, June 24 at Castle Hill RSL, 77 Castle St, Castle Hill. Free.
