At just 11-years-old, Ed Wylde was strumming the strings on his guitar and exercising his vocal cords.
He would perform alongside his older brother at monthly church youth group meetings.
“That’s where it all began,” he said.
“I’ve been working in the entertainment industry ever since then, performing with bands and doing club acts across the country.”
The 65-year-old will host a tribute to Frank Sinatra, one of the most influential singers of all time, in the intimate live show – Let Me Be Frank.
The dinner and dance-style show to be performed at The Galston Club will include classic hits such as New York New York, Strangers In The Night, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, That’s Life and many more.
“In my opinion, there is no other like Frank Sinatra when it comes to interpreting the rhythm, beat and lyrics of a song,” he said.
“Put these three things together and you have the ultimate sound.”
He said the concept behind the show came from his deep admiration for Sinatra.
“Over the years I’ve found that Sinatra style music suits my own style and have often thought that I would love to do a full show in tribute,” Wylde said.
