FRANGOS fans will be able to treat themselves to a new burger when its Bella Vista store reopens at 10.30am on Wednesday.

The popular chicken restaurant have created the Fiery Lovers Burger, which is spicy and the title is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the large fire that ripped through the store in late March.

The interior of the shop has been modernised but has retained its character. There is also a large mural of Portugal’s capital city, Lisbon, at the back of the restaurant.

Frangos owner Luis Fernandes said he was looking forward to serving the store’s popular chicken.

“It has been 11 or 12 week process to get the shop reopened, but we are ready to go tomorrow,” Mr Fernandes told the News.

“I want to thank our loyal and loved customers for their support and we appreciate their patience.

‘We look forward to having a wonderful future here.

“We have kept the same homely feel that we had before, but we have made it a bit more modern.”

Frangos Bella Vista will also now be open on Sundays, with takeaway and casual dining available from 11am to 7.30pm.
