Pedestrians, commuters and motorists are being warned about roadworks

Motorists, commuters and pedestrians should prepare for roadworks in Kellyville, Rouse Hill and Kellyville Ridge.

Riverstone MP Kevin Conolly announced the planned changes to traffic conditions, which began on Tuesday, will take place on Windsor Road and Old Windsor Road at Kellyville, Rouse Hill and Kellyville Ridge. 

He said the road works were a necessary part of maintenance.

“I wish to thank motorists and residents in advance for their patience and understanding while this essential road work is being carried out,” Mr Conolly said.

The works will include removing and replacing asphalt as well as repainting road markings to provide a safer road for motorists and reduce the need for future ongoing maintenance.

They will be carried out at the intersections of Windsor Road and Samantha Riley Drive at Kellyville, Windsor Road and Rouse Road at Rouse Hill and Old Windsor Road and Windsor Road at Kellyville Ridge.

To minimise the impact to motorists, the road works will be carried out for around 10 shifts from Tuesday, July 18 to Tuesday, August 22 between 8pm and 5am. It is weather permitting and will be ceased on Saturdays.

Traffic control and lane closures will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
