Rehearsals are well underway for the two Concerts For Compassion, at St Paul's Anglican Church Castle Hill this month.

Soloists Avanthi Jothidas, Garry Druery, Danielle Allen, Melissa Barnett and Sarah Keith, pictured with musical director David Sansoni, will be joined by soprano Georgia Burley, a 50 voice choir and instrumentalists, in a program of inspirational music and selections from musical theatre.

One of Sydney's leading organists, Godelieve Ghavalas will showcase the splendour of the latest Allen digital organ.

All proceeds from the concerts will go to the work of Compassion International.

The charity is a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty in Africa.

Performances: 7.30pm on Wednesday, August 23 and 2.30pm on Saturday, August 26 at St Pauls, 421 Old Northern Road, Castle Hill. Tickets: $15 donation, at spch.org.au/compassionconcert or at the door.
