Business park to light up

TRAFFIC lights designed to improve traffic flow in Norwest Business Park will get its first test on Friday morning.

Vehicle-activated traffic lights will begin operating at the Lexington Drive, Norwest Boulevard and Elizabeth Macarthur Drive roundabout.

The lights are at the westbound and northbound approaches to the roundabout, and will be triggered by queuing eastbound vehicles.

Motorists are advised to follow all signs.

The traffic lights were installed through a partnership between The Hills Council and Road and Maritime Services (RMS).

It was installed to help improve traffic flow in Norwest Business Park. Traffic and slow internet are the main issues for businesses in the growing business precinct.
