A Carlingford man, 48, has been arrested after he allegedly bullied and harassed an elderly man. 

Police have been told the elderly man, 85, was standing outside his Bettington Road house with his walking frame when he saw the younger man standing near his car, which was parked in the driveway.

The younger man allegedly started yelling at the older man, prompting the man to walk towards nearby shops to get help.

The younger man allegedly then followed him for about 100 metres before witnesses helped the older man and police were called.

Man breaches violence order

A man will face court after he breached an apprehended domestic violence order and was caught drink driving in Glenhaven.

Police will allege the Kellyville man, 52, breached the court order by turning up and phoning his former partner before he was arrested at about 9.20pm on Friday, September 8.

The man also returned a positve reading to a roadside breath test and further breath analysis revealed a reading of 0.060.  He was charged with breach apprehended domestic violence order and low-range drink driving.

Suspended driver caught driving

A man will face court after he was stopped driving an unregistered vehicle in Kellyville. 

Police said officers stopped the Kellyville man, 27, driving on Wrights Road at about 7pm on Tuesday, September 5. After speaking with the man, officers discovered his driver’s licence was suspended.

He was issued a court attendance notice for drive motor vehicle while licence suspended and use unregistered vehicle. He will face court at a later date.

Man issued with drug warning

A man has been issued a cannabis caution after he was found asleep in his car in Kenthurst. 

Police were patrolling Clarke Way when they saw the Asquith man, 27, sleeping in his car at about 11.10pm on Sunday, September 10.

 After speaking with the man, police searched the vehicle and found a small resealable bag with remains of cannabis and was given a warning.
