Each week the Hills News highlights our student leaders.

This week we meet the school captains of Cattai Public School. Their motto is 'Perserverence Conquers'.

What is unique about your school?

Oliver Hopping: Small school with a great view.

Emilia Hopping: Nice plants and the size of the school.

Natalie McLachlan: Small school which means its safer, unlike larger schools where you may not be noticed.

What do you want to do when you leave school?

Oliver Hopping: Architect.

Emilia Hopping: Go to uni and study marine biology and be a dolphin trainer at Seaworld.

Natalie McLachlan: An actor in sci-fi movies and Dr. Who.

Why do you think being a school leader is important?

Oliver Hopping: We lead the school and help other people.

Emilia Hopping: Provide a good example and give speeches.

Natalie McLachlan: You have to show the little kids the way and teach them the rules.

If you were the principal what would like to introduce?

Oliver Hopping: Every day would be muck up day and give out free ice cream and lollies.

Emilia Hopping: Introduce horses, cats and dogs and a zoo. Each class would have a class animal they looked after.

Natalie McLachlan: Turn the school into a Dr Who theme school. A huge Tardis and a huge Dalek greeting you at the front gate.
