Australia will head into the 2015 Wimbledon tournament full of hope with the largest contingent of singles entrants in 20 years.
Three Australian men won their qualifying finals, which takes the total number of Aussies in the final draw up to 16. This is the highest number of entrants for the country at tennis' showcase event since 1995.
Former Wimbledon junior champion Luke Saville led the charge in qualifying although he almost faltered at the final hurdle.
Saville had to save a match point and come back from two-sets-to-love down to beat Italian Luca Vanni 4-6 4-6 6-3 7-6 (9-7) 6-4.
John Millman, currently ranked 119th in the world, and journeyman John Patrick-Smith were the other Australians to successfully make it through qualifying.

Millman earned his first spot in the Wimbledon main draw with a four set win over Frenchman Enzo Couacourd, 1-6 6-3 6-3 6-2
Patrick-Smith meanwhile defeated Czech player Jan Mertl in three sets, 6-1, 7-5, 6-2, to qualify for his second major - and first on foreign shores.
Their success means Australia will have 11 men competing in the singles event which is the most since 2000.
Saville, Millman and Patrick-Smith join seeded Aussie duo Nick Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic, Lleyton Hewitt, Sam Groth, Thanasi Kokkinakis, James Duckworth, Marinko Matosevic and wildcard Matt Ebden in the main draw.
The 2015 tournament will be the last for Hewitt, who was the last Australian man to win Wimbledon when he beat Argentinian David Nalbandian in the 2002 final.
In stark contrast it will be the first championship for 19-year-old rookie Thanasi Kokkinakis who many hope could be Australia's next best chance of winning tennis' ultimate prize.

Samantha Stosur, seeded 22 for this tournament, will lead the Australian women's assault on Wimbledon.
Stosur is a dual Mixed Doubles champion at Wimbledon and has also made the Women's Doubles final on three occasions, without a triumph, but is yet to reach the second week in the singles tournament.
Stosur will be joined by Daria Gavrilova, Jarmila Gajdosova, Casey Dellacqua and Ajla Tomljanovic.
