Ever rushed out the door and down the road wondering whether you shut the garage door? Like to be able to let visitors and tradesmen into your house when you’re not there?
Chamberlain’s new PowerLift MyQ is a DIY garage door opener that allows you to monitor and control your door using a smart device, wherever you are.
Chamberlain Head of Marketing, Grant Emanuel, said that the app notification also alerts homeowners any time their garage door is opened or closed.
“Through recent research, we know that convenience is the primary reason for purchasing a garage door opener. MyQ technology was developed to extend the convenience our products provide, giving homeowners more control over their life and property, by allowing them to connect to their home anytime they want and from wherever they are,” Mr Emanuel said.
It also includes obstruction detection safety beams and premium reversal technology, which guarantees the door will automatically stop and reverse if obstructed – keeping children, pets and the family car safe and out of harm’s way.
Chamberlain’s PowerLift MyQ is now available at selected Bunnings Warehouses and is sold with the MyQ Internet Gateway, two key ring remotes, a car visor remote and obstruction detection safety beams. With an RRP of $599, the product is supported by a five year warranty and Chamberlain’s after sales support service.
