A man shot multiple times in Parramatta on Friday night is the third western Sydney shooting victim in three nights.
The 20-year-old was admitted to Westmead Hospital with a number of gunshot wounds after police were called to Bobart Street, Parramatta, at 11.10pm.
"The victim is unwilling to speak to police," a spokeswoman said.
No arrests have been made and the man was in a stable condition.
The shooting follows attacks in Glenfield and Chester Hill.
On Wednesday night, Radwan Zraika, 39, was hit by bullet fragments above his ear and on his hand.
Mr Zraika, police believe, was an associate of the Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gang, which last year set up a chapter in Punchbowl. The gang has reportedly come into conflict with a local crime family that initially approved their expansion into the area.
Local Area Command Detective Chief Inspector Glen Fitzgerald said Mr Zraika's stable condition was somewhat miraculous but he added there were "no heroics involved here".
"This man is well-known to police," he said.
"The shooting is targeted and police are currently still investigating various links and inquiries."
Police on Thursday found a 36-year-old man with gunshot wounds after they were called to Janus Street, Glenfield. He, too, was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Two motorbikes were reported leaving the scene shortly after the shooting.
